First, choose what works better for you: eSIM or a physical SIM card.

You can buy a physical SIM card at any BITĖ salon, at other points of sale in the city, or order it online at bite.lt. Delivery takes 1-3 business days. You can find more information about packages here.

You can order and pay for an eSIM online. It is available only on devices that support eSIM. Most iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, and Sony models released in 2018 or later are suitable. Important: LABAS eSIM does not work with smartwatches.

Check whether your phone supports eSIM. Dial *#06# and check the IMEI, or find it in your phone settings.

On Apple iPhone:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Cellular.
  3. If you do not see Set Up Cellular or Add eSIM, your iPhone most likely does not support eSIM.

On an Android phone:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. On Google Pixel, tap Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM → Set up an eSIM. On Samsung, tap Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM.
  3. If you do not see an option to add an eSIM or SIM, your phone may not support eSIM.

LABAS eSIM works on all devices that support GSMA standard v2.0 or higher. There is no extra charge for eSIM.

Android and Apple, if another device with a camera is nearby:

  1. Open the camera on the phone where you want to install the eSIM and scan the QR code.
  2. After scanning, the system should recognize the new cellular plan and guide you through the process on your phone screen. They may differ depending on the model.

Android, if there is no other device with a camera nearby:

  1. On the same device where you want to install the eSIM, save a screenshot of the QR code.
  2. Then upload the screenshot in the eSIM settings connected to the eSIM.

Apple, if there is no other device nearby:

  1. In the eSIM settings, select Add eSIM.
  2. Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code that you will find in the email with your eSIM and its attachment.

The eSIM installation process may differ depending on the device. Other eSIM installation methods are described in the descriptions of each manufacturer.

The eSIM image is valid for 90 days from the moment of purchase. After this period, it will no longer be possible to activate the eSIM.

The QR code is single-use. If you delete the eSIM profile installed with this code from your device, delete your eSIM profile, or change your device and later want to activate the eSIM again, you will need to contact customer support by phone and get a new QR code.

Under Lithuanian law, before you can start using LABAS services, you need to verify your identity.

Open register.labas.lt and enter the LABAS phone number you want to register. You will need to confirm the number with an SMS code or PUK code. You can find the PUK code on the LABAS plastic card or in the eSIM description.

A citizen of any country can register a LABAS SIM card at register.labas.lt by choosing identity verification with biometrics. To do this, you will need to take a photo of your identity document and take a selfie. To do this, you will need to take a photo of your identity document and take a selfie. You can also register a LABAS card at any BITĖ salon by showing an identity document to a salon employee.

You need to verify your identity within 90 days from the moment the SIM card or eSIM is installed in the device. Otherwise, the services cannot be activated and the money will not be refunded.

Number registration may take some time. We will notify you by SMS when the services are activated successfully. Service activation may take up to 15 minutes.

You can register from the age of 14. If you are under 14, your parents or other legal representatives can register the number in your name.

Check and top up your account in convenient ways, manage services in your self-service account, and activate new convenient plans.

After activation, you can manage your number and services in the self-service account at mano.labas.lt or in the MANO LABAS app: track your balance of minutes, SMS, and GB, activate plans, and services.

You can check your account in the self-service account, in the Mano LABAS mobile app, by dialing *245# (price: 0.33 €), or by calling 1500 and pressing 2 (price: 0.10 €/call).

You can top up your LABAS account in several ways:

  • Through online banking: choose the top-up amount you need on the LABAS website and sign in to your online bank.
  • By bank card: this is fast and convenient, and you can top up not only your own LABAS account but also your friends' numbers.
  • By instant or automatic top-up: add a bank card to top up your account faster next time, or enable automatic top-up every 7 or 30 days.
  • By mobile transfer: any BITĖ customer can top up a LABAS user's account by transferring part of their account funds.
  • By top-up card or receipt: cards with denominations of 3 and 5 € with a scratch-off protective layer, and top-up receipts for 3, 4, 6, 10, and 20 €, can be bought at press kiosks, petrol stations, shops, BITĖ salons, and other points of sale with the yellow LABAS sign.

Rules for Using the "Mano LABAS" Self-Service

1. Definitions

  • 1.1. BITĖ – UAB "BITĖ Lietuva".
  • 1.2. LABAS services – prepaid electronic communication services provided by BITĖ. 
  • 1.3. "Mano LABAS" – LABAS self-service website mano.labas.lt and/or the "Mano LABAS" mobile application.
  • 1.4. User – a person using LABAS services and/or "Mano LABAS".
  • 1.5. Email – an email address chosen by the User, which the User uses for registration and login to the "Mano LABAS" account.
  • 1.6. Phone number – the phone number used by the User to receive LABAS services and/or to register and log in to the "Mano LABAS" account.
  • 1.7. Password – a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols chosen by the User for logging in to the "Mano LABAS" account.
  • 1.8. "Mano LABAS" account – a personal account created by the User on the self-service website and application "Mano LABAS". 
  • 1.9. The purpose of these rules is to inform the User about the "Mano LABAS" account registration process and usage conditions. These rules are mandatory for all "Mano LABAS" Users.
  • 1.10. Push notifications – a functionality of the "Mano LABAS" mobile application that allows receiving informational and/or promotional notifications directly to the device.

2. Registration "Mano LABAS"

  • 2.1. Registration on "Mano LABAS" is done using Email. The User must specify an Email and Password. BITĖ sends an activation link to the User's Email, which must be confirmed. With the same Email address, it is possible to register on "Mano LABAS" only once.
  • 2.2. Users previously registered on "Mano LABAS" using a Phone number must re-register using Email. Without re-registering with Email, "Mano LABAS" will not be accessible to the User.
  • 2.3. During registration, the User must familiarize themselves with these rules. By agreeing to these rules, the User confirms that they have familiarized themselves with them.

3. General provisions

  • 3.1. The "Mano LABAS" User has access to:
    • - information on LABAS service top-ups;
    • - information on selected LABAS service plans, available Phone numbers;
    • - detailed reports on received LABAS services (ordered plans and other services, account top-ups, local calls, roaming calls, international calls, SMS in Lithuania, roaming SMS, international SMS, internet in Lithuania, roaming internet, and other services);
    • - information on current offers;
    • - other information provided by BITĖ to the User.
  • 3.2. In the "Mano LABAS" account, the User has the ability to pay for, manage LABAS services, and perform other actions.
  • 3.3. "Mano LABAS" allows the User to verify their identity. Once verified, it is considered that all Phone numbers assigned to the User's "Mano LABAS" account belong to the User.
  • 3.4. "Mano LABAS" is accessible to Users 24 hours a day, except in cases of technical problems due to reasons beyond LABAS's control, or during system improvements.

4. User rights and obligations

  • 4.1. The User has the right to change the email address used in their "Mano LABAS" profile.
  • 4.2. The User can grant limited access rights to their Phone number and related LABAS services to another "Mano LABAS" account holder. Such access rights can be granted to no more than one "Mano LABAS" account.
  • 4.3. The User must ensure that the login data to their personal "Mano LABAS" account are not accessible to third parties without permission. The User assumes full responsibility for actions taken in the "Mano LABAS" profile, recognizing them as mandatory if changes were made using the User's login data to "Mano LABAS". BITĖ is not responsible for the consequences and losses if the User has transferred access rights to their "Mano LABAS" profile to third parties.
  • 4.4. The User must immediately, but no later than within 24 hours, notify BITĖ of any unauthorized third-party access to the User's "Mano LABAS" account or login data, by calling 1501 or +370 699 23 230, or by visiting any BITĖ store.
  • 4.5. The User has the right to delete their "Mano LABAS" account. This can be done through account settings by logging into "Mano LABAS". Deleting the "Mano LABAS" account does not cancel LABAS services ordered through "Mano LABAS".

5. BITĖ's rights and obligations 

  • 5.1. BITĖ grants the User the right to use "Mano LABAS" self-service around the clock, except in cases mentioned in clause 3.4.
  • 5.2. Personal data processing is carried out in accordance with LABAS's privacy policy (for more details, see clause 6 of these rules).
  • 5.3. BITĖ has the right to unilaterally change these rules without prior notice, by publishing the updated rules on the website www.labas.lt. Changes take effect for Users from the date of publication.
  • 5.4. BITĖ has the right to delete the User's self-service profile if the User violates these rules or does not use the "Mano LABAS" profile (has no active Phone numbers) for more than 30 days.
  • 5.5. BITĖ has the right to unilaterally change the scope of functions provided to "Mano LABAS" Users without prior notice.
  • 5.6. BITĖ has the right to discontinue "Mano LABAS" operation.

6. Personal data processing

  • 6.1. The personal data controller is UAB "BITĖ Lietuva", company code 110688998, office address Žemaitės g. 15, LT-03504 Vilnius, phone number 1501.
  • 6.2. BITĖ may send Push notifications to the User in the "Mano LABAS" mobile application if the User has chosen to receive these notifications during registration in the "Mano LABAS" mobile application or at any time later in the application settings. By choosing to receive these notifications, the User agrees that BITĖ, as the data controller, will contact the User through Push notifications in the "Mano LABAS" mobile application, providing informational notifications, as well as promotional offers for their services and/or goods or inquiring about the User's opinion on the provided services. Based on this consent and under the conditions, BITĖ will process the User's personal data (phone number, email address) for direct marketing purposes. This consent to receive Push notifications is valid for the entire period until the User withdraws their consent by changing the settings in the application or by visiting a BITĖ store.
  • 6.3. The conditions for personal data processing conducted by BITĖ are specified in LABAS's privacy policy. The policy provides information on how BITĖ collects, processes, stores, shares, destroys, and protects personal data, thus ensuring that the User's personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently.

  • If your LABAS SIM card is new, check whether it is registered. You can register a new LABAS card at register.labas.en Also make sure the card is activated. In rare cases, full activation of a new card may take up to 30 minutes.
  • Check whether you have an active plan for calls and data or a data package, and whether it has enough funds.
  • If the card is activated and a data plan is active, but the internet still does not work, turn your phone off and on again or check whether the card works in another phone.
  • If none of these steps help, contact customer support at +370 699 23 230 (call cost depends on the conditions of your plan) or 1501 (0.15 €/call).

If the internet does not work on your phone, the settings may be incorrect. LABAS can send the correct settings free of charge. To receive them, send an SMS with the text START to 1550. Save the message you receive and then try connecting to the internet. If this does not help, call us at 1501 (0.10 €/call for LABAS customers). For customers of other operators, call 8 ~ 699 23 230 (call cost is the same as calling the BITĖ network).

You can also change the settings manually. Find the internet settings on your phone and enter the following details:

  • APN (access point): internet
  • Proxy server: leave blank
  • Username: leave blank
  • Password: leave blank
  • IP address: 213.226.131.133

You can check your account in several ways:

  • In the self-service account at register.labas.en.
  • In the Mano LABAS mobile app.
  • Dial *245#, press the call button, and the remaining amount on your account will appear on the screen. Price: 0.33 €.

The LABAS account is active for 3 months (90 days) from SIM card activation or from the last top-up. While the account is active, you can use all LABAS services: make and receive calls, send and receive SMS, and use mobile internet. A LABAS user agrees to use the services in accordance with these Rules and/or the procedure specified on the LABAS SIM card package. If the account is not topped up, after 3 months (90 days) you will only be able to call free emergency numbers and receive calls and SMS. If you do not top up the account within the next 30 days, the LABAS number will be blocked, become invalid, and be cancelled. An invalid LABAS number cannot be restored or assigned to the user again.

Yes. Everything works as usual: if you top up the account by at least the minimum amount, its validity will be extended by 3 months.

If your bank issued your card fairly recently, you can most likely use it to top up your LABAS account. Both credit and debit cards are accepted:

  • VISA
  • VISA Electron
  • Mastercard
  • Maestro

We recommend checking in advance whether your bank has any additional security requirements and whether you need to notify the bank that you want to pay by card online.

  • First, make sure your bank card can be used for online purchases. You can top up your LABAS account with a VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, or Maestro credit or debit card. Only VISA cards issued to business customers are not accepted.
  • Security comes first. Check whether the bank that issued the card requires it to be registered for secure online payments. Top-up will work only with cards issued by banks that participate in the international Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode security programs.
  • Top-up may also fail for other reasons, such as insufficient funds in the bank account, a blocked card, or other restrictions. In any case, a message explaining what happened will appear on the screen.

  1. Automatic operator selection: Before traveling abroad, it is better to enable automatic network selection on your phone. This makes it easier for LABAS to connect you to the most convenient network. Simply turn on your phone and wait until it automatically registers on a local operator's network. After registration, you can immediately use mobile service and call Lithuania and other countries.
  2. Manual operator selection: If manual operator selection is enabled on your phone, you need to connect to a network through the phone menu. There you will see all available networks and, if necessary, you can switch from one operator to another. Before traveling, check which operator's network you need to register on in that country: you can find the information by entering the country name here, by calling the short number 1501 (0.10 €/call), or by calling +370 699 23230 (free from abroad).
  3. After connecting to the network: When the operator name appears on your phone screen after registration on a local network, you can already make calls and send SMS, and your friends and family will be able to reach you. They will pay for the call in the same way as if you were in Lithuania.
  4. If you cannot connect to the network: If your phone does not register on a local network, call customer support from another phone at +370 699 23230 (the call is free), provide your mobile phone number, the country where you are located, and the operator you tried to connect to. We will try to keep you connected.
